After successfully assisting OPDEnergy in structuring, originating and closing their first PPA with Centrica for 150 MW (who prior to this had not been offering PPAs in Spain) it was only natural to build on the strong and good relationship between the parties.

By leveraging on the previous agreements and structures it was possible for OPDEnergy and Centrica to swiftly increase their cooperation by an additional 111 MW covering three pv projects developed by OPDEnergy.

Even where future projects may not lend themselves to the signing of additional PPAs, it can be of great value to lay the foundations for a future relationship already prior to the signing of the first transaction. The foresight by both parties made it possible to nearly double the size of their collaboration promptly.
